Madison Public Library’s Seed Library is launching a collection of native Wisconsin plant seeds in November. This spring, Dane County Land & Water Resources Department donated nearly 2,000 native plant seeds collected by Dane County Parks volunteers. There are five species of seeds: black-eyed susan, blue vervain, rattlesnake master, wild bergamot and yellow coneflower. Northside naturalist Alex Singer will be also donating a number of seeds to Lakeview and other Madison seed libraries. You can pick up native seed packets beginning in November at the following locations:

- Lakeview Library (2845 N. Sherman Ave)
- Meadowridge Library (5726 Raymond Rd)
- Pinney Library (516 Cottage Grove Rd)
