Visit one the Friends Book Stores

Friends Book Store
Located on the first floor of the Central Library, the Friends Book Store is a treasure trove of used books, CDs, videos, and other materials. Proceeds from the store and book sales benefit the Madison Public Library. Call 608-266-6300 to check for open hours.

Friends of Sequoya Bookshop
Located at 6672 Odana Rd in Market Square, the Sequoya Friends Shop offers over 10,000 items for sale, including books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles and games. With the easing of COVID restrictions, First Saturday Books Sales have resumed from 9am to 4pm on the first Saturday of every month. In addition, the Friends of Sequoya maintain a smaller selection of books and media available for sale every day at the Sequoya Library.

If you have a large amount of material to donate or would like to otherwise support the Friends of Sequoya Email FriendsofSeq@gmail.com or call 608-288-9848 and leave a message. Donations of materials are accepted at the Shop on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am to noon, with smaller quantities welcome anytime at the Sequoya Library.
