Join the Friends
Over 1,000 Madisonians are members of the Central or Neighborhood Library Friends groups, providing volunteer help and supplemental funds for special projects and collections that the Library could not otherwise afford.
Visit the Friends Book Store
Located on the first floor of the Central Library, the Friends Book Store is a treasure trove of used books, CDs, videos, and other materials. Proceeds from the Friendshop and book sales benefit the Madison Public Library. Call 608-266-6300 to check for open hours.
The Friends of the Madison Public Library are looking for a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator! Check out the Volunteer page for more details.
Madison Public Library partners with a variety of educational and community agencies in Madison and Dane County for one-time events and ongoing programs. For more information or to become a partner, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
