Cooking with Chef Lily
Saturdays, Feb 1 & 8, Mar 7 & 14, Apr 4, May 9 & 16, 12:00-1:00pm - Lakeview Library
Join the Kids Chef Lily Kilfoy in this hands-on cooking class for kids and families. Participants will whip up some of Lily's favorite fun recipes. Kids will learn about healthy, delicious food, learn cooking skills, and get to try all of the creations! Food generously provided by Willy St. Co-op North.
Good Food for the Soul
Thursday, Feb 13, 6-7:30 p.m. - Goodman South Madison Library
Farmer Robert Pierce and Chef Ruthie Allen will discuss good food and the roles food and farming play in Madison’s African American community, past and present. The event will include famous Black love songs, food from Chef Ruthie and a chocolate tasting from CocoVaa, and information about the Committee for a Black History Museum in Madison. Part of our Black History Month event series.
