Madison Public Library, in partnership with Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison, is seeking presenters (artists, storytellers, community leaders, etc.) to facilitate a program(s) for Teejop and Beyond, the Library's Native American program series. The goal is to highlight Native stories, cultures, and communities, past and present.
We invite program ideas from any Native person living in Wisconsin, whether their homelands are in the Great Lakes region or elsewhere in the world. Past programs included art workshops, cooking and crop demonstrations, storytelling, presentations on traditional skills and customs, and more. The content of your program pitch(es) is up to you, but here are some places to start:
- Creation stories
- Cultural celebrations and seasonal customs

- Skills and crafts
- History: removals, returns, important figures, other topics
- Indigenous peoples in community or government
- Relationships between different nations, or collective efforts towards decolonization
