Library Programming Application

Thank you for contacting Madison Public Library with your presentation ideas.

The demand for Library meeting space is very high; we therefore need to be selective in our decisions about what to sponsor, striking a balance between programs with narrow interest levels and the broader public interest. We will keep your information on file and contact you if we are interested in doing your project. We have many inquiries and apologize that we cannot respond to each proposal individually. If you have questions about this form, please email community@madisonpubliclibrary.org or call the Central Library Reference Desk at 608-266-6350.

If you would like to book your program without library sponsorship, you may be able to reserve library meeting room space for your event. Please see the library's Meeting and Study Room Policy for guidelines and call the Central Library Administration Office at 608-266-6363 to make a room reservation.

Describe the program in full detail. How does your program target the Library’s audience? Is this a one-time project/presentation or an ongoing opportunity?
Please give an explanation of the type(s) of promotion you will be doing for this event. (Eg. Facebook group, organizational contact/connection, meet-up group, etc.)
Please be aware that the Library has very limited funds for programming.
