Immerse yourself in the heartbeat of Latine cultures around the world with dancer, dance instructor and musician Luis Armacanqui. This session will feature the Bachata dance, its associated music, national origins, and cultural significance. After a brief presentation to learn about the dance, get on your feet for solo and partner dance instruction set to live music. The goal is to have participants learn and appreciate what makes Latin dance a unique life skill that can be enjoyed anywhere!
This program will be presented in English, but the presenter speaks Spanish and can field questions in both languages. No experience or partner needed. Just show up and dance with us!
