This program is geared toward children under age 5. All older and younger siblings as well as childcare groups are welcome to join.

Cap Times Election Coverage Listening Session

Cap Times Election Coverage Listening Session

Meeting Room 115
Wednesday, Apr 17, 2024, 5:45pm to 7:30pm

Tired of political reporting that focuses on cheap shots and opinion polls? Would you like election coverage that represents the issues you care about and asks candidates the questions most on your mind?

You can help the Cap Times do exactly that. Cap Times political reporters Andrew Bahl and Erin McGroarty will be at Goodman South Library on April 17 from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.--if you have thoughts about what election coverage should look like, have questions you want answered or would like them to look into a particular issue, swing by and share your thoughts.

Conversations will be informal and centered on what you want to talk about. And, rest assured, while they will report on issues that people bring to their attention, they will not quote anyone in news articles without their expressed consent.

Can’t make those dates but want to give feedback? We also have a confidential online survey where you can let the Cap Times know what is important to you. It’s short, simple and sweet: TAKE THE SURVEY
