A review of Cranky, Crabby Crow (Saves the World)

I love a picture book with a plot twist that makes me laugh out loud, and Cranky, Crabby Crow fits the bill.
Crow is perched on the wire, waiting, when Squirrel invites him to rip open garbage bags and spread the trash all over the street. Who could resist an invitation like that? But Crow just responds with a very loud, "KAW!"
Hummingbird asks Crow if he wants to race and do tricks and loops. "KAW!" Rat, Bat, and Cat get the same response (KAW! KAW! KAW!), and Cat warns Crow that he might end up lonely and shouting at the world, before leaving him, alone, on the wire.
All of a suddden from behind Crow we hear, "RING-RING, RING-RING."
No spoilers here, but I'll pique your interest with a secret hideout, a giant asteroid, missiles, lasers, bubbles, and lots of good friends. And as a bonus - endpapers filled with a TOP SECRET CODE.
