This August, the heat is on to find blood donors! Summer can be a challenging time to find enough people to donate. Donors of all blood types are needed now, especially those with type O blood. Download the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS to learn more and make an appointment.
Happiness happens when you do good! Those who come to give will receive a $15 e-gift card to a merchant of choice. Plus, in August, the Red Cross will perform free A1C testing, commonly used to screen for prediabetes and diabetes, on successful donations.
