The documentary Bad River chronicles the Wisconsin-based Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa's ongoing fight for sovereignty and protection of Lake Superior from the aging Line 5 oil pipeline. The film highlights the tribe's deep connection to the land and their resilience in the face of historical injustices and current threats, showcasing their David and Goliath battle against the pipeline and corporate interests. The documentary is produced by 50 Eggs Productions. The producers have graciously waived their fee for this screening.
