"I’m an editor and author who specializes in nonfiction storytelling for children and adults—from historical biographies to contemporary topics like the environment, natural history, and food science. Before launching my full-time writing career, I spent nearly a decade as an editor at American Girl where I created lifestyle features for American Girl magazine and developed nonfiction middle-grade books."
