Coffee & Connection

Central Library
Cafe Area
-

Each month, Central Library invites local social service providers to share about the different resources they offer to those in need of assistance. Hear a short, informal presentation while enjoying coffee and refreshments and connecting with others who have similar experiences. There will be plenty of time to connect 1-on-1 or in small groups with providers and ask questions about the services they provide.

On October 7, meet with staff from the Neighborhood House Community Center.

What They Do: NHCC programs and services work to provide neighbors with the resources they are needing.

How They Do It: Legal clinics, food pantry, a non-emergency "Sunshine Line," the Laundry Love program are just a few of the programs that NHCC hosts.

Services include rapid and transitional housing, assisting individuals in securing the necessary paperwork for housing applications, and navigation through the complexities of finding and securing sustainable housing.

No registration is required.
