During this time, there are a number of educational and enrichment resources popping up online for kids and families, from at-home project ideas to author storytimes. Madison Public Library staff have created a database of these resources. You can filter (on the top left of the database) by language, type of activity, and other factors, check out one of the thematic views, or browse the entire collection below.
- Stories, books, and more
- Make, create, and discover
- Play, move, and relax
- En español / Resources in Spanish
- Resources for educators
- Storytime Snippets (released every Wednesday on YouTube)
In addition to these resources, Madison Public Library will also be providing limited virtual programming via Zoom. Zoom is a free video platform, and you can watch on a browser, or through the free mobile app for ios or android. Please visit our online calendar to find programs and links to participate.
Please visit the United Way 2-1-1 for resources related to food access, housing, financial assistance, and other essential needs, and the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families for Child Care Resources.
