Build your own gnome village in the woods! Grab any of a wide variety of "blocks" at the bottom of the screen to build whatever you want. Stack them tall to make towers, or fill the screen from edge to edge to make a massive home for gnomes. Each time you place a block that has a window or door, it will open to reveal a new gnome. Gnomes can be moved from one block to another or just taken outside where they'll go for a walk to explore the rest of the village. The app developer says, "Think of it as your classic building block set – with a bit more digital magic thrown in." Most of the blocks are pretty classic -- ones that look like wood, or stone-- while others are more whimsical (anyone need a hamburger roof?). There's no wrong way to stack them, so feel free to get a little silly and see how many giggles you can squeeze out of this adorable and open-ended app. (Note: as of the writing of this review, the Amazon version is only available through a Sago Mini World subscription, but that will likely change if you search for it in the next month or so.)
