Looking for some great podcasts for kids and the whole family to listen to together? Try the Pinna app.  It includes both podcasts that are Pinna originals made expressly for this app and only available here plus a few apps that were created by others and are included in this app. The podcasts are greatly varied and include "game show" formats, serially told stories with cliffhangers at the end of each week, shows that feature a new story in the same style each week (my family's current favorite are the Grimm, Grimmer, Grimmest tales by author Adam Gidwitz), narrations of published books like Clifford and they come in a variety of lengths from one minute to full length audiobook versions of chapterbooks so there's something for every listener. Do you prefer music to spoken word?  This app's got entire albums of "kindie" music as well! This is a subscription-based service, but there's a 30-day trial, so if you've got a road trip coming up, that's a great time to sign up and try it out (you can cancel after the 30 days if you'd like to).  Although at the time of this review the app doesn't allow users to download episodes for offline listening (like on an airplane), they are currently working on developing that ability. Parents can search for content by age, topic or favorite character. There is a ton of content within this app and they are adding new items all the time.  Definitely worth the investment if you're looking for an easy one-stop-shop for listening enjoyment!
