Share the Word, held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Central Library, was a gathering of Madison-area poets, writers, spoken word performers, hip hop artists, and storytellers that brought the Madison writing community together to share ideas, showcase their works, and spawn innovative collaborations. The event included music, food, networking, performances, and small group discussion. The event was organized by team members Oscar Mireles, Diana Gonzalez, Joey Phelps and Zora Beach.
