Madison Public Library's Central Library partners with the following local service agencies to provide over 50 hours per week of on-site case management, outreach, and referral services:
BadgerCare+: health care enrollment assistance for low-income Wisconsin residents. Tuesdays, 11-1pm in room 210 through July.
Care Wisconsin: benefit information to individuals enrolled in SSI. Every other Wednesday, 2:30-4:30pm in room 210. September 13 & 27, October 11 & 25, November 8 & 22, December 6 & 20.
Healthcare for homeless veterans: outreach, exams, treatment, referrals, and case management to homeless veterans. Thursdays in room 210. September 21: 2:00pm - 4:00pm. October 5 & 19: 2:00pm - 4:00pm. November 2: 2:00pm - 4:00pm. November 16: 1:00pm - 3:00pm. December 7 & 21: 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
Porchlight: permanent, on-case managers provide shelter, housing, and food assistance to homeless individuals and families. Everyday, Mon-Sat 9-5pm and Sun 9-1pm in room 211.
Project Babies Outreach: Volunteers provide parent education, training, and support. In addition, they maintain a baby closet at the library with diapers and clothing for families in need. Wednesdays, 10:00am - 12:00pm in the Children's Room (Lower Level).
Tellurian: outreach for individuals experiencing substance abuse, addiction, mental illness, and homelessness. Fridays, 9-1:30pm in room 201.
