Madison Public Library's Central Library partners with the following local service agencies to provide over 50 hours per week of on-site case management, outreach, and referral services:
BadgerCare+: health care enrollment assistance for low-income Wisconsin residents. Wednesdays, 11:00am - 1:00pm in room 211.
Healthcare for homeless veterans: outreach, exams, treatment, referrals, and case management to homeless veterans. 1st and 3rd Thursdays, 1:00 - 3:00pm September 6 & 20, October 4 & 18, November 1 & 15, December 6 & 20 in room 211.
Project Babies Outreach: Volunteers provide parent education, training, and support. In addition, they maintain a baby closet at the library with diapers and clothing for families in need. In the Children's Room (Lower Level).
General Job Assistance: Get free job assistance with a focus on resumes and cover letters. Help looking for work online or filling out an online job application is also provided. Sign up for a free one hour session of one-on-one assistance. Mondays, 12:00 - 3:00pm in Room 204.
Drop-In Basic Computer Help: Get help with basic computer questions: email, printing, filling out online forms, etc. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 12:00 - 4:00pm
Free Mending: Sewing Machine Project volunteers are available to mend your clothing for free. Thursdays, 10:00am - 12:00pm in room 211
