Madison Public Library Racial Equity Resources - This is a curated collection of books, websites, articles, videos, music, and more related to racial equity and social justice, created by the Madison Public Library in collaboration with local organizations supporting racial equity.
Learning Express Library - A comprehensive, online database of practice tests and tutorial course series designed to help students and adult learners succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass. This resource is available remotely to all cardholders of any South Central Library System member library and in-library at all member libraries.
Tech Boomers - Short online tutorials for popular websites and apps such as Gmail, Netflix, Ebay, and Facebook.
Wisc-Online - Online classes in basic and more advanced computer skills, programming, and more.
Working with Children
The Volunteer Toolbox is generally geared towards individuals working with organizations that serve adults and families, but a great resource in Madison for people who tutor children in the Madison Metropolitan School District is The Tutoring Network.
Working with Older Adults
Aging & Disability Resource Center of Dane County - provides information about resources and support on all aspects of life related to aging or living with a disability and is a one-stop shop for older adults, people with disabilities and their families.
