Madison Public Library has several programs, initiatives, and partnerships to support the preservation of our collective history, including individuals looking to protect their own individual or family history, as well as neighborhoods and groups looking to archive and record those broader stories. 

Outerlibrary Loan - Thanks for Your Request

Requests will be processed in the order in which they are received. Please allow 2 - 6 weeks for processing of your request. You will be notified either when the item arrives, or if we are unable to find a library willing to lend.

To place another request, return to the Outerlibrary Loan form. (note: limit 5 requests per day; 50 requests per calendar year per patron).

Outerlibrary Loan Form

Outerlibrary loan (OLL) is a borrowing privilege available to residents of Adams, Columbia, Dane, Green, Portage, Sauk, and Wood County. This service allows customers to borrow materials or copies of articles unavailable in LINKcat from libraries across the nation.
