Many Voices, One Community

Many Voices One Community CIO

Join in a celebration and amplification of Many Voices, One Community Radio WWMV-LP 95.5 FM.

The Community Block Party event will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 12:00-5:00pm at Goodman South Madison Library.

Many Voices, One Community is a low powered radio station that is volunteer-operated and promotes community members’ ideas and creativity, specifically those that have been underrepresented on the Madison airwaves. Their event was chosen as part of Madison Public Library's 2018-2019 Library Takeover program.

This family-friendly indoor/outdoor event will include local live music, dance, kids’ activities, food and more.

Celebrate National Library Week by completing these nine “scavenger hunt” challenges at any of our nine Madison Public Library locations - or use this as an opportunity to visit them all. 

The Scavenger Hunt will run from Friday, April 5 until Sunday, April 14 at 5pm.

From April 7 to April 13, National Library Week will be celebrated at Madison Public Library and throughout the city. This year’s theme nationally is “Libraries = Strong Communities,” and events over the course of the week will highlight ways to get involved -- both for library regulars or as first time patrons.
