Think Tank Thursday at Meadowridge Library teaches life readiness skills for tweens and teens

Think Tank Thursdays at Meadowridge Library are a way for teens & tweens to build life skills. Programs include topics like goal setting, homework help, interview preparedness, resume building, and more! Our teen librarian will bring in multiple guest speakers to help facilitate this program and teens + tweens will get the chance to connect with local colleges and organizations.

This program takes place from 4-6PM in the teen area every Thursday. 

Time Management

September 29, 4-6PM

This week, we will be working on making time for school and organizing our time. Homework help will also be provided. 

Teen Job Search

October 6, 4:30-6PM

This week, we will be learning about ways to search for a part-time job. All teens are welcome to join us in the Quiet/Socializing Room from 4:30pm-6pm!

ACT/SAT/GED Testing

October 13, 4:30-6PM

This week, we will be learning about the ACT, SAT, and GED and about the free test prep resources available. We will be joined by our community partner, Galin Education. All teens are welcome to join us in the Quiet/Socializing Room from 4:30pm-6pm!

College Admissions

October 20, 4:30-6PM

This week, we will be learning about the college admissions process. We will be joined by our community partner, UW-Madison Admissions. All teens are welcome to join us in the Quiet/Socializing Room from 4:30pm-6pm!
