Teen Page to Screen Book Club

Sep 20, 2022
Teen Page to Screen Club at Meadowridge Library

Join us for this unique book club where we discuss a book and then watch the film adaptation! All teens and tweens are welcome to attend. You don't need to read the entire book, but you must have read enough to contribute something to the discussion in order to watch the movie. If you read the book in Meadowridge Library or the Meadowood Neighborhood Center, your reading time will also count towards the Get Down Party that week.

This is a monthly club taking place on the last Tuesday of each month from 5-7PM at Meadowridge Library. Snacks are provided - see you there!

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

December 27, 5-7PM

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla. But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He's tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly. Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.
