Madison Public Library to Host Multiple Blood Drives

Madison Public Library American Red Cross Blood Drive

Madison Public Library will host a series of Red Cross Blood Drives at our Central Library location throughout December. Many of these events were originally planned for different locations around the city. When those locations were unable to accommodate a blood drive, the library stepped up to help host them in a safe, friendly environment that many citizens already feel comfortable in. Please see below for multiple blood drive dates for which you can sign up to participate.

Event Details:

Only guests with scheduled appointments will be allowed into the building. Masks are required, and the Red Cross will provide a mask if you don't have one. Donors can enter the Central Library building through the Fairchild Street doors.

All blood drives will take place at Central Library in Community Rooms 301 and 302 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Healthy individuals can still donate in areas that have issued shelter in place declarations or are operating under a phased reopening plan. The Red Cross follows the highest standards of safety and infection control, and volunteer donors are the only source of blood for those in need.
