Lunch for Libraries Goes Virtual!

Lunch for Libraries 2020

Lunch for Libraries is going virtual! You can purchase tickets to hear food writer and cooking authority Mark Bittman in conversation with Shannon Henry Kleiber, NPR's To the Best of Our Knowledge producer. The Lunch for Libraries live stream fundraiser will take place on Thursday, June 18 from 12-1 p.m. CST. Bittman is a former New York Times food columnist and author of the well-known How to Cook Everything cookbook.

Individual tickets are $75 for event access and a hardcover copy of Bittman's book, How to Eat, or $125 for the event, the book and a Wisconsin Book Festival annual membership. Get your tickets before June 1 to make sure you receive your copy of Bittman's book before the event.

The majority of funds raised at Lunch for Libraries will go toward the Wisconsin Book Festival - the event nets about half of the festival's privately raised dollars each year. A portion of Lunch for Libraries is used to provide other library services. Learn more and purchase your 2020 Lunch for Libraries tickets on the Foundation website.
