Now you can sign up for a virtual library card without visiting our libraries.
While our libraries are closed, please be advised that book drops are also closed. Please keep library materials until libraries reopen. Due dates of checked out materials will be extended to accommodate the closure, and holds will be retained at libraries until libraries reopen.
The Bubbler Provides Online Resources for Creators of all Ages
All Madison Public Library locations and administrative offices are closed to the public beginning March 17.
Help us celebrate the long-awaited new Pinney Library! Join Library and City officials on Thursday, March 12 at 11 am for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by the opening of the public library for its first day of service; celebrate with cake, coffee and tours of the new space. Then, drop in for a full weekend of events on Grand Opening Weekend, March 14-15.
Wisconsin Film Festival Sneak Peeks at Madison Public Libraries
Author Donna Leon will read from and sign copies of Trace Elements. Copies will be given away at this event, subject to availability. Wednesday, March 4, 7pm, Central Library. Doors open at 6pm.
