Go Big Read Discussion Groups + Book Club Kits | Fall 2021

Sep 16, 2021
Go Big Read Discussions at Madison Public Library

Each year Madison Public Library partners with UW-Madison to extend the perennially popular Go Big Read program into the broader community.

The 2021-2022 Go Big Read selection is the novel Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi, which uses a fictional story to explore the very real issues of race, immigration, science, faith and family. Read more about the selection of this title in the UW-Madison press release.

New book club kits for the 2021-2022 UW-Madison Go Big Read title are available now for checkout. Want to read it with your book club? Call the Central Library at 608-266-6300 to request a kit. Please have your library card number ready when you call.

Already read the book? You can sign up for a book discussion! We're hosting 10 discussions (9 in-person, 1 virtual) from September 23 through January 19.
