Free Tech Repair and Assistance at Madison Public Library

Two Madison Public Library locations - Meadowridge and Lakeview Libraries - offer free tech assistance. 

Tech Repair

DANEnet technicians are available to assist those who wouldn't normally have access to these services with their technology repair needs for free. Technicians can look at laptops, desktop computers, phones and tablets, and can help with viruses, data recovery, slow computers, app issues, password reset, and more! No appointment needed. Walk-ins only: first come, first served.

  • Meadowridge Library (5726 Raymond Rd.): Tuesdays, 1-3PM | October-December 2022

One-on-One Computer Assistance

Lakeview Library is offering help with basic computer and/or Internet skills on the second Saturday of each month. Get help with things like downloading library eBooks and audiobooks, using other library databases and help navigating other online systems.

Reservations are required: register online, in person, or call Lakeview Library at 608-246-4547 to reserve a 30 minute appointment window. This is a volunteer-run service.
