Fall We Read Activities Poster

Storytelling Events

We'll be celebrating a summer of We Read through storytelling and story sharing at the Madison Public Libraries from August 8 - August 24! Each library will have special events, workshops, and/or self-directed activities to enjoy.

Create your own digital comic with Bubbler Media Instructor Nate Clark, join Bubbler Media Instructor Rob (Rob Dz) Franklin for an interactive spoken word poetry workshop, or make a stop motion animation workshop using iMovie and the Bubbler’s custom stop motion animation stations. You can even tell your story through poetry with Mr. Alexis! See the full list of activities below.

We Read Postcards

We Read is all about reading what YOU want to read. When you've found that perfect book, audiobook, graphic novel, etc. you may want to crow about it from the rooftops. Why not send a postcard instead? We created 18 different postcards in English and Spanish for you to use to talk about your favorite books, share recommendations and reconnect with loved ones through snail mail. We're excited to offer this opportunity to spread your reading joy! You can pick up postcards from any library location and if you'd like to send your postcard in the mail, ask at the desk and we'll provide a free stamp!
