Saturday Morning Cartooning

Saturdays: March 10 and April 14 - Sequoya Library

Calling all comic book lovers, graphic novel gurus, aspiring artists, and cartoon enthusiasts! Dive into the world of cartooning with guest artists and fun comic related activities on Saturday mornings… and enjoy some vintage cartoons while you'’re at it. Breakfast snacks provided by the friends of Sequoya library. Drop in any time. Ages 6-12, younger supervised siblings welcome.

Creative Coloring for Adults

Tuesday, March 13 from 6:30-7:30pm - Lakeview Library

Join us for one hour of creative and calming coloring. We supply the coloring pages, colored pencils and markers.

Felt and Doodle Stitching

Friday, March 23 from 6:00-7:00pm - Goodman South Madison Library

Join us for felt and doodle stitching with Sachi from Anthology. Kids can draw on fabric or cut out felt shapes and grown-ups can learn to stitch these doodles or applique the pieces. Create a lovely and unique hoop embroidered piece for the whole family to display and enjoy, or give as a gift. Family Fun Nights are funded by a gift from The Capital Times Kids Fund.

Toddler Art Class

Fridays: March 9 & March 16 from 10:00-11:00am - Central Library
Mondays: April 2-23 from 10:45-11:30am - Sequoya Library

Enjoy the tactile wonders of paint, glitter, glue and more. Smocks or "messy" clothes recommended. For toddlers ages 18 - 36 months. Registration is first come, first served. Please pick up a nametag 15 minutes before the program to register.

Secret Message Bookmarks

Thursday, April 5 from 3:30-4:30pm - Alicia Ashman Library

What could be a more perfect way to practice kindness in a library than leaving encouraging messages tucked between the pages of a book? Come color some kindness bookmarks or create your own original design, then we'll tuck them into your favorite books for other readers to discover! Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration necessary.
