Fire Road Book Discussion

Book Discussion of Fire Road on June 1 at Sequoya Library

Join friends and neighbors on June 1, 2PM, at Sequoya Library for a discussion of Fire Road: The Napalm Girl's Journey through the Horrors of War to Faith, Forgiveness and Peace by Kim Phuc Phan Thi.

The discussion will be led by Thuỷ Phạm-Remmele, educator and founder of MMSD's "Meet the Authors".

Also joining the discussion will be special guest Phương Liên Nguyễn, survivor of the 1954 Exodus from the North, the Tết Offensive, and escape by boat during the fall of South Việt Nam in April 1975.

Make Music Madison

Make Music Madison is part of Make Music Day - The Global Music Celebration. All throughout the day on Friday, June 21, 2019 there will be hundreds of free outdoor concerts. Many branches of Madison Public Library will be venues for some of the concerts! Registration is open for musicians and venues until May 7th.
