
Madison Public Library buildings are serving as locations for voting in the November 2020 election. At locations serving as polling places on election day, Madisonians can register to vote, return absentee ballots and vote in person. You MUST VOTE AT YOUR POLLING LOCATION on election day. Four library locations will be closed for in-person services on Tuesday, November 3, including:
Alicia Ashman Library (Ward 88)
733 N High Point Rd, Madison, WI 53717
Hawthorne Library (Ward 39)
2707 E Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53704
Lakeview Library (Ward 31)
2845 N Sherman Ave, Madison, WI 53704
Meadowridge Library (Ward 95)
5726 Raymond Rd, Madison, WI 53711
Please note that Central Library and Sequoya Library, which have served as voting locations in the past, will NOT be polling places in this election. Alternate polling places near those library locations include Madison Senior Center (330 W Mifflin St) for Ward 51 voters (formerly Central library) and Odana Hills Golf Course Clubhouse (4635 Odana Rd) for Ward 79 voters (formerly Sequoya).
The following services will be closed on Tuesday, November 3 at the locations listed above:
- Curbside Pickup
- Computer and Internet Services
- Calling and online scheduling of Curbside Pickup appointments
Patrons can still take advantage of these services at other library locations.
