Group Summer Reading Club Registration

Why Summer Reading?

When children don't read over the summer, they lose some of the hard-earned skill they acquired during the school year. This is known as “summer slide".

What Is Group Summer Reading Club?

Group Summer Reading is designed for childcare, summer school, or other groups that serve children from birth - age 12, and is meant to keep kids engaged with reading and literacy through the summer.

When To Register?

Starting May 1st registration will be open and the program will run June 1st - August 31st.

What It Includes:

  • Book and literacy information for teachers and staff
  • A special Group Summer Reading Club BINGO card.
  • Each child gets a brand new book!

A Youth Services Librarian from the Madison Public Library will contact you to discuss details.
