*note: as of Nov. 2016, this app is no longer available in the app store.  You can try the link above to see if it's become available again, but unfortunately, it may never return.  For a simliar app, try Seedling Scavenger Bingo or Monkey Spot Scavenger Hunts.*

A photo scavenger hunt for actions! This game requires at least two players (and as many as 10 players), but only one device. To play, first choose a “scrimmage,” or set of photo challenges, you’d like to try.  At the time of this review, there were 8 free scrimmage options including one for sick days, one for while you’re waiting somewhere, and (my favorite) one for in the library. Once you’ve chosen the scrimmage that applies most closely to your situation, the app will randomly choose 10 photo challenges (e.g. “Give each other thumbs up and take a picture of it!”) for you to snap pictures of. You can choose to use a timer for each challenge or hide the timer for a lower stress game. When you’ve completed all 10 challenges, the app creates a photo collage and a mini video of your photos that you can share on social media (parents should note that Facebook and Twitter are both options and if your device is associated with an account on either of those sites, there are currently no restrictions set up to limit kids posting to those public accounts).
