Calling All Star Wars Enthusiasts

Star Wars enthusiasts will not want to miss this opportunity to meet the Wisconsin Garrison of the 501st Legion (AKA "Vader's First").
Come mingle with your favorite Star Wars galaxy "bad guys," such as  Sith Lords like Darth Vader and Darth Maul; nefarious bounty hunters like Boba Fett and Greedo; hostile aliens like Tusken Raiders and Gamorrean Guards; and of course, the soldiers of the evil Galactic Empire: Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers,Sandtroopers, TIE Fighter Pilots, and Biker Scouts.

Fitness for the Family

Whether you're three or fifty-three, Madison Public Libraries want to help you stay healthy this holiday season!

Join instructor Katie of Lotus Roots Kundalini Yoga in a 75 minute introductory level Kundalini Yoga class for adults. Learn de-stress techniques to use throughout the upcoming busy season. Each participant should bring a yoga mat or towel. Wearing socks and comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement is recommended. Teens 13 and older are also welcome to register. No experience necessary.

Family fitness expert Venus Washington will get the whole family moving with exercises, yoga, dancing and other fun activities. You'll learn and practice new ways to keep fit each time which you can do on your own for the rest of the month!

Does your preschooler have some excess energy? Let her shake it all about to new and familiar tunes at the Pinney Library Preschool & Toddler Dance Party. You'll have so much fun that you might not even notice how much exercise you get dancing!

The Little Snowplow
