We Read Bookmaking Workshop - with Artist Mike Lroy

Community Room Combined
Thursday, Jun 23, 2:00pm to 4:00pm

You’re invited to come kick off the summer with us at Lakeview Library by making your very own blank book to use all summer long! You can use your book to keep track of what you’re reading, write down all the places and ways you read this summer, fill it with drawings inspired by what you read, tell a story of your own, or for anything else you can think of! Then, bring your book back to the library throughout the summer so we can celebrate your progress on your story or journal. We will also be celebrating our Bubbler Artist in the Neighborhood, Mike Lroy! Mike is a very talented local artist, creator, and designer who will be helping our neighborhood to explore their artistry and creativity all summer long!

Stop by on Thursday, June 23rd between 2 and 4 to make your book, meet Mike, connect with your librarians, participate in exciting activities, enjoy snacks, and grab a bag to fill with library materials to kick off your summer reading journey! Book-making supplies will be provided.
