Touched by an Angell (Documentary Film with a Wisconsin Flavor)

Community Room
03/02/2019 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Sun Prairie's Angell Park has a rich local history dating back over 100 years. For the second half of its life it became world renown for midget auto racing. But, nobody has put together a substantive piece of work to encompass more of the park’s history until now, thanks to filmmaker, Bob Leff of Cottage Grove. “Touched by an Angell, The Story of Angell Park a Giant Among Midget Race Tracks,” is a 144-minute documentary produced by Leff’s Video Art Productions.
Bob will provide an introduction to the film and a discussion will follow the screening. Copies of Touched by an Angell and Bob's other films will be available for purchase. Refreshments will be served.
