ONLINE - Sensory Smart Behavior Strategies

*Online
Wednesday, May 13, 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Do you ever struggle to effect change with a child's behavior within the context of a classroom setting? In this presentation we will provide an overview of sensory processing and the autonomic nervous system. We will then explore the impact of relationship and prior sensory experience on both a child's behavior and as a way of shaping engagement and learning. We will explore not only sensory strategies but also co-regulation strategies as a way to understand and change how a child is behaving throughout their day!

This early childhood educator training will be presented by Jen Bluske of Children's Therapy Network and is offered in partnership with the Beyond Dane Chapter of WECA (Wisconsin Early Childhood Association). Registry credit is available, and registration is required.

This event will be hosted virtually through Zoom. The link to this program will be sent to you by email when you sign up. Zoom is a free video platform, and you can watch on a browser, or through the free mobile app for ios or android.
