Madison Travel Circle presents Rome's Neighborhoods

Community Room
03/27/2019 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Join Dan Eggerding as he explores the Eternal City of Roman Caesars, Dictators and Popes with palaces, statutes and fountains created by giants like Bernini and Michelangelo. Then, there are those magnificent Roman Neighborhoods (Trastevere, Tesaccio, and Capitoline.) They contain windy alleyways, flower draped balconies, and the coziest of cafes with dinners created by a thousand years culinary genius and other forms of forced labor. In ancient times, failure to cook well could make you the next meal at the Coliseum… I will also get to the Hill Towns of Umbria and San Remo.
(Note: Quebec City program postponed until November 25)
