[FULL] Cyanotype Workshop with Creativity Coach Angela Johnson

Saturday, Jun 22, 2024, 10:00am to 1:00pm

This workshop will explore the history of cyanotypes (a camera-less photography process) as well as offer lots of time for hands-on exploration of this media. Pre-treated fabric will be used to create single and dual sided imagery, using a variety of materials for inspiration including leaves, flowers, stencils and more.

Feel free to bring your own inspirational items from home to use (lace doily, pressed flowers, or other FLAT or translucent materials).

This 3-hour workshop is ideal for older teens 16+ and adults.

Space is limited and registration is required, open on June 8, 2024. All summer cyanotype workshops are the same content and are in high demand; please select one session date.

Instructor Bio:

Angela Johnson is an artist and educator with a creative spirit. Her teaching career started as a 5th grade Language Arts teacher. No matter the classroom, her teaching philosophy remains the same – give students the tools to grow from learner to leader in both art and life.
