Events Calendar

Join The Kids Chef, Lily Kilfoy, for a series of cooking classes for school-age kids, tweens, and their families. Participants will learn about different foods, where they come from, how to follow recipes, and how to use a variety of tools.  Registration is not required, but participation will be limited to the first 25 attendees. Food generously provided by Willy St. Co-op North.

Please join us for our celebration of menstruation! Public Health of Madison and Dane County will be joining us to provide an informational presentation about menstruation. Following the presentation we will be eating "period craving" favorites such as pizza and chocolate and making our own period "go bags". This program is open to kids, teens, and their families.

Local doula and artist Ashley Hartman Annis will also provide free copies of her "Awesome Ovaries" zine for attendees to take home. We're excited to partner with Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District(link is external), as well. They will provide information on how to safely dispose of period products so that they don't impact our sewer and wastewater systems.
