We'll host a series of different activities and stations all around 1 topic on the 1st Saturday of the month June - September. Period Party

Community Rooms A and B and Kitchen Combined
Saturday, Sep 2, 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Please join us for our celebration of menstruation! Public Health of Madison and Dane County will be joining us to provide an informational presentation about menstruation. Following the presentation we will be eating "period craving" favorites such as pizza and chocolate and making our own period "go bags". This program is open to kids, teens, and their families.

Local doula and artist Ashley Hartman Annis will also provide free copies of her "Awesome Ovaries" zine for attendees to take home. We're excited to partner with Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District(link is external), as well. They will provide information on how to safely dispose of period products so that they don't impact our sewer and wastewater systems.

Registration is requested. Please sign up on the event calendar or call Meadowridge Library at (608) 288-6160 for assistance.
