My Library/Your Library Scale Model Building Session

My Library/Your Library Scale Model Building Session

Community Room A
Friday, Jan 20, 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Come help us put the finishing touches on our scale model of the Meadowridge Library! We've been working on this model for almost a year, and whether you've been helping with the project since the start or are just hearing about it for the first time, we'd love for you to come be part of this project. Drop in between 1pm and 3pm to make a standee of yourself to go inside the model, decorate the walls of the model with art, or help us place tiny versions of our bookshelves, furniture, computers, and everything else in the library!

This program is open to all ages, but children under 7 will need help and supervision from a parent or caregiver. No registration required.

Sugar Apple Fairy Tale

Anne Halford is on her way to fulfill her dream of becoming a confectionary artisan, a Silver Sugar Master—however, the road to her destination is filled with a world of danger. To protect herself, she reluctantly buys Challe, a fairy forced into a life of servitude, but she seeks friendship more than a lackey. Torn between his freedom and her needs, she must confront what the sweet life is worth.

The Hawthorne Anime Club was created to give people a place to gather, watch, and talk about Japanese animation.  The club is intended for adults and older teens. All screenings will be in Japanese with English subtitles.  Occasionally films or series with mature content will be screened.  Call ahead to reserve your spot!

(masks are required and no refreshments can be served due to Covid-19 restrictions)
