Are you a kid who loves LEGOs? Do you enjoy engineering and designing LEGO creations?  If that is you - come join us for LEGO Club! The library will provide lots of LEGOs, and you provide the imagination. No registration required. LEGOs will have to stay at the library, so bring a camera to capture your creations.

Will you make a cardboard instrument? Explore pastels or watercolors? Or build something out of wood? That’s the joy of serendipity - you never know until you get there! Drop in anytime to enjoy fun hands-on art and maker activities for kids of all ages.

Want to make delicious sweets, but not sure how to get started? This class is for you! Punky will show you what tools and equipment you need, what ingredients to stock in your pantry, and how to use base recipes to make a variety of products. These basic rules of baking will prep you for sweet success!

About the Presenter

Punky Egan earned the title of Certified Master Baker, one of less than 200 in the country, from the professional organization RBA (Retail Bakers of America). Through her 45-year professional baking career, she owned Sucré Patisserie and Dessert Lounge, was a consultant to the baking industry, and recipe developer. At Madison College, she was the director of the baking program as well as lead instructor. She co-authored 3 cookbooks, wrote baking articles for professional publications, created instructional baking videos for her baking students. She had a regular baking segment on a local TV station and was even on the Food Network!
