This sale takes place at the Friends of Sequoya Bookshop, 6672 Odana Road

On the first Saturday of each month, Friends of Sequoya Book Sales take place at our shop located at 6672 Odana Road in Market Square (next to Play-it-Again Sports.) Months with five Saturdays also have a "bonus" sale on Third Saturdays!
At this time, for the safety of our customers and volunteers, masks are not required but are encouraged.

READ and PLAY together with children under age 5! Engaging with books, songs and playful experiences all help children develop communication skills, patience, empathy, and pre-reading skills​ and helps to build a lifelong love of reading. Library programs are always free. All older and younger siblings as well as childcare groups welcome.

Have a plain t-shirt or canvas shoes that need some spicing up? Come decorate it at Meadowridge Library! Get creative with fabric paint and puffy paint, or use our Cricut machine to make an iron-on design. T-shirts and tote bags to decorate will be provided while supplies last, but feel free to bring your own items to decorate as well!

This program is for all ages, but children under 7 will need extra help from a parent or caregiver. No registration required.

Join The Kids Chef, Lily Kilfoy, for a cooking class for kids and families. Participants will learn about different foods, where they come from, how to follow recipes, and how to use a variety of tools. Food generously provided by Willy St. Co-op North.

Want to learn how you can empower your health as a patient? This workshop will teach you how to find trusted health information on the internet, whether it's for researching symptoms, injuries, diseases, or finding treatments and care near you. This is a demonstrative and interactive workshop; bring your own e-device (smartphone/tablet/laptop), or use one of the library's. Open to anyone who is interested!

About the presenter: Olivia Zhu is passionate about technology and healthcare! The president of the MEDLIFE (Medicine, Education, and Development for Low-Income Families Everywhere) chapter at Vel Phillips Memorial High School, where she is currently a senior, and the founder of DCYTHE (Dane County Youth for Technology, Health and Education), Olivia has partnered with Wisconsin Health Literacy to offer this free and interactive workshop.

Explore pastels or watercolors? Or build something out of wood?
