It Takes A Village After-School Enrichment sessions are created in an effort to promote community, and a safe place for youth patron between 12 and 18 years old. We will supply various activities from crafts, board games and electronic games also.

Drop in to the children's area at Meadowridge Library for art, making, tinkering, and fun! This week, we will be making a scale model of the Meadowridge Library. Stop by to help us work on the model and make a tiny version of yourself to go inside!

All ages welcome. Children under 5 will need extra help from a parent or caregiver.

Join The Kids Chef, Lily Kilfoy, for a cooking class for kids and families. Participants will learn about different foods, where they come from, how to follow recipes, and how to use a variety of tools. Food generously provided by Willy St. Co-op North.

Drop-in anytime between 4:30PM-5:30PM and make a Calavera. All materials are provided and take your Sugar Skull with you when you leave.

This is a special workshop in celebration of Dia de Muertos. Workshop attendees are also invited to add photographs* of loved ones who passed to the Hawthorne Community Ofrenda.

*Free photocopies will be provided

 

Ven a la biblioteca entre 4:30 a 5:30pm para hacer una calavera de azúcar. Todos los materiales serán proporcionados y podrás llevarte tu calavera de azúcar.

Este es un taller especial para celebrar el Día de Muertos. Se invita a los participantes a contribuir fotos* de sus seres queridos difuntos para la ofrenda comunitaria de Hawthorne.
