Many people are experiencing financial hardship right now.The African Center for Community Development will be located at the Lakeview Library on Tuesdays, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm, to help individuals and families who owe back rent apply for Dane Core assistance. Eligible households in need of rental and utility assistance should stop by.

Having trouble with your digital device? DANEnet technicians are available at Meadowridge Library every Tuesday from 2-4 PM to assist you with your technology repair needs for free.

Technicians can look at laptops, desktop computers, phones and tablets, and can help with:​

  • Data recovery
  • Slow computers
  • App issues
  • Password reset
  • And more!

No appointment needed. Walk-ins only: first come, first served.

1st, 2nd, or booster doses of Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson available while supplies last.

Everyone 5 and older is welcome. 5-17 year olds need a parent or guardian present.

Join The Kids Chef, Lily Kilfoy, for a series of cooking demonstrations for kids and families. Participants will learn about different foods, where they come from, how to follow recipes, and how to use a variety of tools. Due to COVID precautions, this will be a hands-off program, but participants will get to take home a meal to enjoy.  

Food generously provided by Willy St. Co-op North.  

Per order of Public Health Madison & Dane County, masks are required in all indoor spaces for those age 2 and up.

Join Madison’s Poet Laureate, Angela Trudell Vasquez - along with Teena Wilder, a local  community artist - for this teen workshop where we will explore the dynamics between poetry and art.  The group will explore creating art from poetry - and - poetry from art. There will be room for lots of creativity! For tweens and teens in 6th-12th grade.
