La interacción con libros, canciones y experiencias divertidas ayudan a los niños a desarrollar habilidades de comunicación, paciencia, empatía y alfabetización, todo lo cual promueve el éxito en la escuela y más allá. Vengan a participar en este momento especial de historias, canciones y juegos para niños de 2 a 5 años de edad. Este programa estará presentado en inglés y español y es gratuito. 

Engaging with books, songs and playful experiences all help children develop communication skills, patience, empathy, and literacy—all of which promote success in school and beyond. Join us for this special time of songs and play for children ages 2-5.  This program will be presented in Spanish and English and  is free.

Join us for this special storytime - book, songs, and play for children ages 5 and under. Spending time together and reading aloud with young children promotes healthy brain development, improves language and listening skills and helps to build a lifelong love of reading. Library programs are always free. Siblings and childcare groups are welcome.

A movement class where elements of mindfulness and movement intersect for one hour! All identities, skill levels, and capabilities are encouraged and welcomed. Adaptable movements will be shared for all abilities. The end of each class will include time for reflection and connection. Notebooks and writing materials will be provided. This is an invitation to get to know your community while learning more about dance, movement and mindfulness.

Presented by KLJ Movement. KLJ Movement is a professional performance and dance company that embraces the influence of black and brown people in the world of dance.

Register to reserve your spot! This program is intended for BIPOC seniors. 

Programs will follow all Public Health requirements in place at the time of the program.

The Hawthorne Anime Club was created to give people a place to gather, watch, and talk about Japanese animation.  The club is intended for adults and older teens. All screenings will be in Japanese with English subtitles.  Occasionally films or series with mature content will be screened.  Call ahead to reserve your spot!
