Join other neighborhood families for a casual library playdate, featuring open-ended play materials and lots of books! For kids up to age 5 with their caregivers. Siblings welcome. 

This event will take place outdoors on the Pinney Patio - please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled. Per order of Public Health Madison & Dane County, masks are required in all indoor spaces for those age 2 and up.

Vengan a reunirse con otras familias del barrio para jugar en el patio de la biblioteca, con juguetes abiertos y muchos libros. Para niños de hasta 5 años, con sus cuidadores. Hermanos/as son bienvenidos.

Este evento tomará lugar en el patio - favor de vestirse para el clima. En caso de lluvia o nieve, el programa será cancelado. Según la Orden Pública del Public Health Madison & Dane County, se requiere que todas las personas de dos años o más usen una mascarilla cuando se encuentren en espacios cerrados.

We're keeping it safe, sunny and simple this fall.​  "Drive in" with baby in a stroller on the Tokay-side Porch (or wear baby!) to share a book, learn some songs and rhymes, and even checkout some Board Books if you don't want to go inside the Library at this time.  Registration is required and limited to 8 babies with their adults. In the event of inclement weather, we'll cancel and reschedule.

Masks are strongly encouraged at all outdoor library events for those age 2 and up.

Come get your wiggles out every Monday morning at Meadowridge Neighborhood Library with this movement-centered storytime for ages 2-5. We’ll dance, sing, play, and read! To keep our storytime safe, masks are required, distancing is encouraged, and toys, instruments, and props will be cleaned, sanitized, and quarantined between uses.

Per order of Public Health Madison & Dane County, masks are required in all indoor spaces for those age 2 and up.

Join us for a storytime on the lawn between Goodwill and ADRC, just down the mall from Lakeview Library.  We’ll enjoy stories, songs and rhymes, crafts and play.  For kids up to age 5 with their caregivers. Siblings welcome.

Drop in for special mini making! Each week will feature a different project or artist/builder/maker-led activity for families, groups, and all-ages. The foam animal art activity for this week is with local artist, Michael Hecht, and is sponsored by Skaalen Retirement Services of Stoughton.

Lifelong Madison resident Muriel Simms presents a brief history of African American settlement in Madison and a collection of oral histories from twenty-five African Americans whose families arrived, survived, and thrived here in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Can’t make it to storytime in the morning, or just need something to do with your kids after dinner? Join us every Monday evening in the Meadowridge Neighborhood Library children’s area for a low-key evening storytime. We’ll hear stories, sing songs, and learn rhymes. Kids are welcome to come in their pajamas! To keep our storytime safe, masks are required for anyone over the age of 2, distancing is encouraged, and toys and props will be cleaned, sanitized, and quarantined between uses.
