Practice speaking, reading and writing English. Beginning to advanced students welcome!

For more information, fill out the New Student Interest Form or call our office at 608-244-3911 to make an appointment. Registration will begin on August 30th. During the registration appointment you will talk with a staff member over the phone about your goals and they will help you choose the best program for you. All programs are free. At registration, you pay for program materials, $10, $20 or $40 depending on program. Cash, check or credit cards. Scholarships are available.

Will you make a cardboard instrument? Explore pastels or watercolors? Or build something out of wood? That’s the joy of serendipity - you never know until you get there! Drop in anytime to enjoy fun hands-on art and maker activities for kids of all ages. 

This event will take place outdoors on the Pinney Patio- please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the program will be cancelled. Per order of Public Health Madison & Dane County, masks are required in all indoor spaces and strongly encouraged at all outdoor library events for those age 2 and up.

Drop-in to explore the new Pinney Library, connect with youth librarians, and learn about library resources for educators, including organization library cards, STEM kits for early childhood classes, booklists, our die-cut machine, and more.

Venga para explorar la nueva Biblioteca Pinney, conéctese con bibliotecarias juveniles y aprenda sobre recursos y servicios que ofrece la biblioteca para educadores. Estos incluyen tarjetas de biblioteca para organizaciones, kits STEM para clases preescolares, listas de libros por tema, nuestra nueva máquina troqueladora, y más.
