Wednesday, May 6, 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Early this March, Metro Transit and Madison's Poet Laureate - Angela Trudell Vasquez - invited all Madison residents to the annual Bus Lines Poetry Project by submitting short poems (3-15 lines total length). The theme for this year's contest was "How riding the bus is good for us and the planet." Angela selected 27 poems from the community, including four poems penned by Wingra School students. All poems will be transformed into moving art by Edgewood College Graphic Design students, to be revealed at this special online reception, hosted by the Madison Public Library.

All are welcome to attend.

This event will be hosted virtually through Zoom. The link to this program will be sent to you by email when you sign up. Zoom is a free video platform, and you can watch on a browser, or through the free mobile app for ios or android.
